Dr. James S. Purvis III

Dr. James S. Purvis III is a chiropractic physician originally from the Lake Country of Georgia. Under chiropractic care and physical therapy since a young age, he quickly developed a passion for rehabilitation and spinal biomechanics.

Dr. Purvis attended Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science. He then received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA with a focus in correction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the spine.

In addition to his undergraduate and doctoral education, Dr. Purvis has also completed the initial 90 hour post-graduate training in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®).

Dr. Purvis is dedicated to helping his patients reach peak health and performance throughout their lives. Having participated in outdoor sports and activities his entire life, he values and has committed to the significance of an active, healthy lifestyle. Now that is he in the desert, Dr. Purvis enjoys the activities that come with his new environment such as hiking and rock climbing, while still finding time to be in his natural habitat: on the water. His goals for patients are the same goals he has for himself – create symmetry and balance through pain-free functional movements.
